You Didn't See Anything.

Steve Asheim, the only member of Deicide that still has a shred of sincerity, gave an interview with an English journalist recently about the band’s upcoming album,
Till Death Do Us Apart, which gives some more insight into the train wreck Deicide has become.
Including writing all the material for the new album, Asheim laid down all the guitar tracks and even played LEAD, with Ralph Santolla and Jack Owen stepping into the studio to record solos on their day off from practicing with real bands.
The video was posted April 9, 2008 on
youtube but was recently removed by Earache, though as of this writing the preview image still exists in the sidebar of the
Earache website.
Steve is still a pretty sturdy musician and seems like a pretty cool guy. A little fuzzy in spots, sure, and I’d bet dollars to donuts he tweaked that riff from “Trick Or Betrayed” again for the new album, but such lapses probably have more to with all the years pot-smoking than say, having to retcon your life every single interview due to years of making an ass of yourself...
We wish Steve all the best once Deicide finally mercy-kills itself and look forward to his new work with Council of the Fallen.
