Winterblut - Das Aas aller Dinge

One of the few bands who would make even Lugubrum blush, Winterblut offer a queasy, off-kilter style of Black Metal scratched out within a torrent of grisly voices, which simultaneously seem to have dropped or been exploded from some ill cavity, the words either sprayed or shat trembling into this rough, unrecognizable nightmare. The music is so dense and abnormal, void of any well-defined hooks or melody (Where Winterblut at last breaks with the Voivod style of prog-Thrash) that it becomes repulsive in the extreme. Pure and ugly mischief as intended by these “non-conform” offenders, Das Aas aller Dinge is the most unique of records and nearly unlistenable for it.
