Batter up.

Hey Guys,
Happy new year! Hope this finds you well. I wanted to send you an advance copy of our upcoming release by Wildernessking, titled "The Writing of Gods in the Sand". Its[sic] a fantastic metal album. Some black metal, thrash, lots of really good riffs and just great music all around. Here's a little write up by a fellow reviewer/friend of the band, along with the link. Hope you enjoy! Take care,

-Shawn

Wildernessking - The Writing of Gods in the Sand

“Wildernessking's The Writing of Gods in the Sand has been one of my most anticipated albums from the day it was announced that the band was going into the studio. The music creates a swirling maelstrom of sound, emotion and catharsis that is both primal and progressive in its execution, with the vocals slicing through the massive wall of sound. Wildernessking are a band at the forefront of their genre and are a must-listen to fans of Enslaved, Wolves in the Throne Room, Agalloch and Cult of Luna!” – Rory Molyneux, Metal 4 Africa

STRIKE ONE: "...some black metal"
STRIKE TWO: "emotion and catharsis."
STRIKE THREE: "a must-listen to fans of Enslaved, Wolves in the Throne Room, Agalloch and Cult of Luna!”

YOU'RE OUT

"Hey Left Hand Path - Team,

We are Satyros, a blackened melodic death metal band from Germany.

We've been wondering, if you might like to receive some fresh extreme metal and maybe write some feature about it, play some songs on your radio or just spread the news?

We released our 2nd full-length album "Riven" in a digital FREE version, downloadable on our platforms posted below, including booklet, artwork lyrics, and liner notes.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys,
have a nice one!

Oh boy! My four favorite words: Free Fresh Extreme Metal. And I have some ideas on how to make it even fresher!

First, fire the shy girl on the right. She’ll leave without any trouble. Next, tag the buzzcut with a left while he’s waiting for you to knee him in the balls. Go home with your head held high, log onto Metal-Archives and update the band’s genre to: “NS Black Metal.” After that, yes, we'll think about playing it on our radio.

Hello. We are Now Exploding in Saigon, a black metal band from Greece that have been characterized anything from trve apokalyptikal grim to hipster hardcore-fused Weakling fanboys.

We would like to send you our debut album "Vigil" being released by an indie local label (http://www.ctsprods.com), in hope of it being heard by a larger circle of people than our friends and family. This is a high quality download of the album plus artwork and lyrics, hoping to hear an opinion (public or private) since LHP is a site we frequent and trust in terms of music. Thank you for reading this far and we hope you like what you're going to listen:

“In terms of music." Well, that's a good start. But halfway through downloading the album I cancelled it, just like the two clichés you used to describe your band cancel each other out.

Hello,

I am contacting you to see if The Left Hand Path would be interested in reviewing the new Pyrrhon album, "An Excellent Servant But a Terrible Master," which was recently released by Selfmadegod Records. Pyrrhon is an experimental death metal band from Brooklyn, and in recent reviews has been compared to Gorguts, Ulcerate, Deathspell Omega, Death and Atheist.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Regards,
Dylan DiLella

"An Excellent Servant But a Terrible Master" = STRIKE ONE

"experimental death metal" = STRIKE TWO

"Brooklyn" = YR OUT

I'm 32. I made this in 2007. There are 2 metal songs on this (demon I and II) and some other wuss filler. I'll admit, I was and am fair weather toward metal. Death metal, grind core, and most cookie monster stuff is like a fucking joke. I still can't keep a straight face through one song. Of course, the only reason I'm reading your blog is because of Liturgy. They're a blessing and a curse. Still, at least check out my demon songs. I call it "transcendental cock rock"

Ha ha ha. Nicely done.

    Hey there, faggots.

Happy Valentine's Day. ᅠPlease check out the demo for my band, Tauroctony. ᅠWe are a duo of paraplegic, paramilitary, Palingenetic ultra-nationalists playing contrapuntal, operatic, neo-pythagorean rouge-brun-vert-core. ᅠThis three-track opus traces the movement from Stirner'sᅠder Einzige toᅠJnger's Anarch, all transpiring under the gaze of the unblinking eye of The Condor.

    Sincerely Yours,

    V. I. Griffin

Wow, you are grouch with people offering free demos. That's so mean. Why metal world is so cruel? Please be kind with this comment.
