Diabolic - Excisions of Exorcisms

Panzer Division Diabolic. In lieu of shoring up reading-raven writing, treble-hooked leads, fanged Sumerian jibber-jabber, Diabolic opts for full-tilt boogie, a miasmic deluge of ejaculating guitar and gatling percussion rivaling eschatological bukkake that concludes
Reign in Blood’s title-track. (Manna for those prone to caffeinated peripateticos—anathema if ye seek Florida Death Metal, Morbid Angel styled [first three LPs], in absentia.)
Excisions of Exorcisms is the record Diabolic was born to create. The three-clitted spawn of drummer/pugilist Aantar Coates (dude’s name sounds like a Schnabel painting), allowed to diddle itself until DeSade’s coital gymnastics appear as so many bubblegum scented qweefs from bottomless cunt of mainstream excess. Stuff like this is great if you know how to use it, and that’s not limited to driving tail over ass through cotton fields while torked on fistfuls of psilocybin. Were noise maestro Kevin Drumm’s
Sheer Hellish Miasma a Death Metal record, it most certainly would be this, kicking and screaming to be disworlded from an indifferent locus of profound ingrates.

Wow. I thought you were full of shit until I went and listened to some clips, and then found the allusion nearly apt (possibly fully apt as I need to actually hear the whole fucking thing). SHM is still one of the best albums of the last decade, even if I can only listen to it once or twice a year. Maybe it's because of that. Anyway, great to read your stuff, and I'm curious if you write anywhere else about other things, motives, appreciations...
